Paving Your Driveway More Successfully

Are You Changing The Look Of Your Front Yard Landscaping?

As you await spring and summer of 2019, are you already planning to make some changes to the landscaping of your front yard? If so, from making your design on graph paper to arranging for residential paving services, here are some ideas that might help you find a design that you and others will enjoy.

Start With A Basic Design

Before you put colored pencils to work on your graph paper, consider the elements you want to include in the design of your landscaping for your front yard. Think about driving around high-end neighborhoods to get ideas for your beautification project. For example, you might see a circular driveway that has both asphalt paving and brick as the design of the driveway. Another house might give you the idea to encircle your existing trees with decorative cement borders. Yet another house might have attractive round or square cement pavers that lead to the front patio of a beautiful home. Using residential paving services may add to the expense of your landscaping, but the results will more than likely be worth every penny you spend. When you have put your own design on graph paper, show it to a professional at a residential paving service facility. He or she may fine-tune it in a way that will be more practical and even more attractive.

Enhance The Paving Design

Think of ways you can add beauty to the paving services you have selected. For example, if you have decided to go with the asphalt and brick circular driveway, think of having the bricks on either side of the driveway, leading up to an all-brick area right in front of your front door, plus an extended section on both sides. If you decided on the decorative cement borders, consider using the same brick in the design that will be used in the circular driveway. If you chose brick pavers that will lead to the front door, think of placing them close together but allowing enough space for a ground cover to grow between the bricks. When you have determined which areas will be accented with paving, then add splashes of interest by planting colorful flowers in pots of different sizes and shapes. Place the pots in strategic areas of your front yard. Another idea is to hang ferns and decorative birdhouses from trees that are already part of your front yard landscape.
